Does The beauty of life transcend time?

Come and let us see.

The death and decay that winter brings,

a node of simpler things.

The flowers glow shines fresh light,

something new is beckoning.

We survived the long, cold nights,

what purpose does this bring?

The joyous laughter in the bright suns rays,

You can feel it if you'll see.

The beauty of life transcending time,

Does it bring or take away?

A lifeless slumber some say may come,

At the end of everything.

The seasons quiver at last resort,

In the warmth of the light of spring.

Some may fret and some may not,

At the revelation of these things.

Some may cry and some may sing,

Under the new light of beckoning.

This is an inverse entry isn't it? Well done and good luck!

  • Just saw your reply to Skyler that this is for the Inverse challenge! I went back to read it in reverse and you nailed it perfectly!

Both exacting and exploratory, this poem brings out the radiance of existence and uplifts the thought of light.
