OH HE’S RISEN
WHAT A GREAT HEARING IN THE EAR
ABOUT THE STORY OF THE GREAT KING OF JUDAH
THAT AFTER ALL THE ECHOS AND RUMOURS
THAT THE WORLD THOUGHT OF HIM
YES THEY FOUND HIM DIFFICULT TO BELIEVE
YET IN ALL ADVERSARIES AND CHARGES LAID AGAINST HIM
TO BE CRUCIFIED, LAID DOWN HIMSELF
TO BE DUMPFOUNDED WITHOUT A WORD
SO TO BRING TO PASS THAT WHICH WAS SAID OF HIM
OH WHAT SADDNESS ON THAT CRUCIFICATION DAY
BUT YET TURNS TO JOY
FOR THE CHIEF PLANNER DO NOT KNOW
THAT HIS DEATH WILL BRINGS LIVE TO ALL MANKIND
THAT TRUST IN HIS EXISTENCE
NOW HE’S RISEN AGAIN TO GO AND COME BACK
TO TAKE UP WITH THOSE THAT BELIEVETH IN HIM
OH WHAT GREAT JOY THAT FILLS THE HEART OF THEM
THAT FOLLOWS HIM
THAT HIS RISEN BRINGS JOY AND COMFORT
TO THE WORLD.
