Extraordinarily rare and breathtaking
Concealing each other and combining as one
Lunar and solar, the twins we have come to admire
Intertwined in one sphere of power and light
Penumbral and beautiful all the same
Shrouding each other for only a short while
Eclipsing the world in shadows and in light

I spent many years reading and writing in my adolescence but have found inspiration has lapsed since I have become more settled into my adult life--a career and marriage. I look forward to changing that and sharing my creations with you.

Congrats on Top Story!
I really like how you called them "the twins we have come to admire" I had written a storybook for kids that states this, and I really liked it in this poem!
