My need for you grows extinct,
like the wings of a pterodactyl;
can you feel the wind as I fly by?
With a bang, my confidence expands
and an illusion dies.
****
Now my wings are fire,
flames growing with the breeze -
Freedom floats like stardust
in the light that never leaves.
