BEHIND THE SMILE

Everyday starts with the hope of fresh starts as we step out of our houses with smiling faces that hide struggles we carry within . From the outside it may seem as though life is filled with happiness and ease but beneath the surface lies lots of challenges and hardships that often go unnoticed by those around us.

Wearing a fake smile has become a common habit for many which serves as a mask won to conceal the pain that eats deep beneath the surface,It is a coping mechanism, a defense mechanism, a means of survival in a world that can often feel overwhelming and challenging.

Behind closed doors away from public eyes we hassle with lots of struggles such as financial hardships that threaten to engulf us, Relationships that struggle and deteriorate due to the pressure of expectations and disappointments, Delayed dreams and unachieved goals, as well as the silent battles waged against inner demons and unseen foes.

Despite facing these challenges we persevere,our smile an evidence to our resilience and strength.We go to work take care of our families, fulfill our responsibilities, all the while carrying the weight of our burdens like Atlas bearing the weight of the world upon his shoulders.

The weight of pretending to be happy all the time can have a significant impact on a person. It is a difficult load to carry, a continuous reminder of how vulnerable our emotions are . When alone, in the quiet and away from prying eyes the mask starts to break, exposing the vulnerabilities hidden deep within.

During times of vulnerability, we seem to face our innermost fears such as the dread of failure, the creeping sense of loneliness and the uncertainties that quietly linger in the depths of our thoughts.
