True sincerity is the scariest thing to hear
It hurts to have others truly know our pain
To know someone that has stood in the same rain
Is harder for our brain to comprehend than when they pretend to understand us
Overcome with a strange madness
Knowing they know our sadness

I’ll spare you the details of that—but in addition to the grotesque physical symptoms, I had some fever dreams I won’t soon forget. Imagine my surprise to see Vocal’s newest challenge: Write a fiction story about a recurring dream or nightmare.

It is better they know than try to understand but painful they know because of pain. One comment - in the second line it should be “now” but is there as -no-
