Declutter my bathroom I say for today

It is only 10+ items on this day

Tomorrow a few more items on Thursday

I may not get to the floor on Friday

~

He laughed when I said, I got a new mop too

He said, yes, six months ago wasn’t it Boo

We both laughed hard when I didn’t have a clue

Wanted to clean the floor, what’s a girl to do

~

The project is nowhere near finished but hope

to get more done as soon as I can. I mope

around and will not get it done, so instead

I need the support of the declutter head!

~

Sarah is her name, and she knows the game play

to finish up my work and not be a jerk

Crying around won’t get it done it takes work

Stick to it ness is all it takes on Sunday.

I worked the three days of the challenge, decluttering a bathroom shelf, and a medicine cabinet. Both needed work. I got rid of probably 60 items all together. There is more. This is the second time I’ve spent decluttering my bathroom. I hoped to finish with the floor.

It may not be six months since I bought the mop for the floor in there or the rugs that I plan to use while the others are being cleaned, but it was good for laughs this morning. Hubby said, I sure hope you write about that. We had things in the bathroom that we stored for 20 years that were tossed.

It is looking good, and I am feeling better about the clutter that has left the house. And I really did get something done, even in as little as about an hours' time, spread over three days. I know the floor will not take me much time. It really is just the commitment to schedule the time and get it done.

I do believe I am learning some important things about decluttering, and I hope to continue allowing myself this gift.
