Maxton Hall Review | Nothing new ordinary teen drama series

This series does not try to do anything new in its concept; even the way the story of this series starts, episode after episode progresses, it becomes very slow and starts dragging, and it also ends on a very predictable note.

maxton Hall review

Guys, a German teenage school drama series was released on Prime Video on May 9th. The name is Maxton Hall, which I watched on the same date, and today I decided to review it because I have been traveling a lot for the last few days.

If school dramas with a young adult vibe are your cup of tea, then you're in the right place. Stay tuned to discover whether this series is worth adding to your watchlist or if it's better to pass on by.

In terms of basic details, this series has six episodes, each of which lasts between 40 and 50 minutes. The good thing is that this series has also been brought into Hindi, which was executed very well.

Great news for fans of spicy content! This series is filled with bold, sizzling scenes that heat things. If you're more on the traditional side, you might want to save this one for solo viewing or with friends who share your taste.

Story

Look, if we come to the story, it is simple; it follows the conflicts of two people, one of whom is our hero James, who belongs to a very rich family. The school where the setting of the story is presented is his rule; his family controls everything there, and his mind is such that money is everything for him; he can buy anything with money.

On the other side is our actress Ruby who is not rich like James but belongs to a poor family and her dream is to go to Oxford University but some situation arises due to which James comes and stands in front of Ruby and then to know all the things that start happening regarding their conflicts, you will have to watch this show.

Maxton Hall Amazon Prime Review

Now, after listening to the story, you might have some idea of what exactly you get to see in this series. Yes, if I define this series for you in one word while making an overall judgment, then I would just say that it is average.

If you are a young audience and have not yet explored young adult dramas with themes like Elite or Gossip Girl if you enjoy watching the conflicts between heroes or heroines, especially teenagers, then you will definitely like the drama going on between James or Ruby in which love and hate are present, but on the other hand, if you are a pro audience and have already watched a lot of series on such themes, then sorry boss, there is nothing new for you here.

This series does not try to do anything new in its concept; even the way the story of this series starts, episode after episode progresses, it becomes very slow and starts dragging, and it also ends on a very predictable note.

Some moments where James or Ruby have conflicts are enjoyable, but overall, the series cannot handle those moments.

So simply, I would like to tell you all that if you are a pro audience and you have already watched many such shows but you still feel like watching some school drama, then watch one to two episodes of this series if you find it enjoyable, then continue watching; otherwise, skip it.

One more thing I would like to say is that if you have not explored such themes till now and you are a new player in school dramas, etc., then definitely you can check out this series once; it is not that bad for you, especially.

At the same time, I would like to say one more thing: if you like this show, then you can watch Elite, which is the best option and is available on Netflix.
