Are you lazy?
In terms of productivity, I’ve been looking for tools to measure precisely my productivity. I found a couple of them which did give me some promising results, but eventually I realized that I didn’t need tools to measure my productive. I also understood why companies don’t measure productivity in terms of what people do on a daily basis. They look at the bigger picture, at the end of the day it's the execution of the higher level tasks which matter and not what small tasks people get done daily.

Become what it takes
Numerous persons have already shared their dreams with me, their aspirations and what they want to ultimately become in life. Personally there are also things I aspire to become and some other things I had to give up entirely. There was a moment when I wanted to become an actor, another time I wanted to become a musician, astronaut, and all one not. Whenever a person shares their dreams with me, what I’ve learned to do is observe their current lifestyle, to kind of get a sense of whether they will be able to become what they want. If their current lifestyle can even sustain that. Most times than not you will have a person aspiring for a highly demanding position meanwhile they aren’t even able to manage a little stress without crashing out.

Breaking free from the obsession of work
In our modern society today you have to become obsessed with work for you to go far. Aside from those born in really extreme wealth, the rest of us have to work very hard in order to obtain sufficient wealth to allow us live comfortably or at least how we wish. Some people are contented with having an average life, while others are more concerned with doing all they can to get all they can, this eventually leads us to become workaholics.

The problem with being a nice personTop Story - May 2024
Who would have thought that being a nice person could be problematic. The majority of people would tell you that’s what they want to be or at least want those around them to be, but as it turns out, what we want and what we say we want are worlds apart. I won't stress or ramble on about how I would like things to be, but I’ll just analyze why this is, I am not sure either if a solution is even possible.

How I lost myself
I’ve been slowly noticing a change in me over recent years. In a lot of ways, I am coming to an understanding of why my parents did what they did, how I felt, and why it's important I do the same as well. I am also understanding society a lot better, the reason why certain things happen like they do and how we ultimately reached this status quo. For example, I understand why I felt the way I did about my dad, uncles, aunties, and society as a whole, and even though I was hoping to be different and not walk in their footsteps, I came to understand why they were like that and also the reason why I need to be the same as well.

The day I became ruthless (fiction)
There are a handful of events that can drastically change a person’s life from being a loving, kind-hearted being to a cold and ruthless being. When I meet ruthless people, I always wonder what their backstory could have been, because I don’t think they were born that ruthless, cold, and mischievous, like every villain. they must have had a series of events or a specific one that pushed them over the edge and turned them into what they are.
