Once upon a time in the year of 1947, Getting Ready to graduate from Grammar school, and become a wife to my longtime boyfriend James, After living years with My aunt and uncle, after my parents had passed away years ago. Just started my first job working at the wood mill making furniture as a source of income. James and I just found ours first place a little shack house by the bayou. We had been try for years now to start a family, But it wasn’t in the card for me. My older sister Netta got in the family way, while her husband was away in North korean War for 4 years, Couldn’t explain the two children, She had at that time. My other sister May and I want to keep the kids in the family, So We decided to take them both as our own. May raised jimmy and I took little ann in with me and james. Now I feel that our family is complete now and ready to moved on to the next chapter in my life. After 6 years of marriage to James, He started to gamble really bad and losing a lot of money on every pay day. Me and Little ann would have to leave james and relocated to chicago Illinois. Where my youngest sister Shelley lived with her husband and six kids. Ours new place was a half way house on the west side of chicago. A one bedroom next to a family of three, A single woman name gene with two kids. We all share a bathroom on one floors. But it was home to us and freedom with a peace of mind. Later on in years me and gene would become the closest of friends ever. She would go on and married a well off man with a good funeral home business. And have four more children with him. My sister May will have to leave louisiana from her abusive husband on that midnight train to chicago. This situation would open up thing for me and little ann at this time.

The year is 1972 Chicago heatwave summer, Me and Ann just Got Settle in a One bedroom basement apartment. On the westside of Chicago with my Sister May and new husband Cedric. Now Ann is expecting a baby girl Anyday now. So I been trying stay close to home, Ann is now 17 years old got pregnant. By this young boy name Otis, Who isn’t around to Support her and baby. I Met a nice guy name johnny been seen him about year now. He work at the Cook county jail house as a correctional officer. Been very support of me. Things Are getting quite serious with us, But at this time, I am not ready to take it to The next level. May Boys have all grown up and move out the house now. Her Second son Mike has start a family with a lady name Mary had three kids by Her. Mike has three outside kids by two other women. One of his baby mama Came by house crying saying she would kill herself, If no one help her with her Three Little girls, May move them in with us to help her out. By this time Ann Just had gave birth to a baby girl erica. By this time there was eight peoples Living in a one bedroom basement apartment. The girls was sleeping in the kitchen On cots. May and Cedric has the bedroom, Me and Ann sleeping in the living Room On to twin size beds. Push together with the baby in the middle. Bobby Was May oldest son always came over to check on her. He was married to a lady name rose with three kids and worked construction. He dressed like jimmy Hendrick and drove a Motorcycle in years he would passed Away from cancer and be buried in the Burr Oak Cemetery. Her third Son jake Would be the ladies men. Been married four time with four kids. The Fourth child jimmy would go to the navy. Become Chicago police officer and Retired. After 20 years of service. In the year of 1979. We would have a Basement Fire losing everything and needing help through red cross. We had to Moved in with my older brother Anthony. He was a widow of 10 years his wife Elizabeth pass away from cancer. He was a single father of a son named Maurice. Who was away at college going for his engineer degree. We stay in the daytime hours at my sister shelley house. And at night would sleep at Anthony house, Until it was time for him to go to Work in the morning. We finally got a check through red cross to find a new Place to Stay. May and I Found a nice Three flat apartment on the westside. Where we stay on different Floors, she lived on the first floor with three Bedrooms one bathroom. I stay on The third floor with the same layout. Things seem to be coming together with ours family. Now the year is 1981, Ann is expecting her second child and erica is eight year old now. She has gotten back with erica Dad trying to be family. Unitl a week before her son was born, She caught otis sleeping with another Woman at his father house. That cause her to have a early labor with Darren.Otis came to the hospital with a bust lip and a bruise face. It’s seem like Ann had beaten him real good after that altercation. Six month later Ann would leave him for good and start a new life with her best friend Eugene. The sega will continue on the next story.

Why Just Write Is The Best Advice You Don’t Listen To
Before the last 6 months, I hadn’t written anything that wasn’t for my job or university for a number of years. I wanted to write more, I used to write all the time just for fun. I used to write poems and short stories that were just for me. I used to show them to certain members of my family but it was the process of writing them that I really enjoyed.
