Goode Things Happen When Writers Think Creatively and Step Outside the Box

Here's how I make myself stand out from the crowd

After being an online writer and content creator for more than two long decades, I've come to see myself as a "think outside the box" kind of person. As a result, I've found that Goode things tend to happen to me whenever I think creatively and step outside the box.

That's because whenever you allow yourself to move out of your comfort zone, you usually find that you have more room to spread your wings.

I'm such a firm believer in this concept, that I often come up with creative ways to do things a bit differently from the way everyone else is doing them.

Take for example, my relatively new Benable account and profile.

I enjoy spending time locating and listing various products on what I now view as my little online store.

I love the shopping oriented platform, and whenever I'm not actually out shopping in the real world (aka - offline), I'm busy browsing and searching through different websites, looking for cool items and worthwhile products to list in the store.

Based on the thousands of other product listers doing the same thing, I guess I'm not the only one who enjoys doing this. I shared the information about the platform with lot of my writer friends on another platform and many of them were thrilled to sign up via my invite code (a requirement to join).

As far as I'm concerned, the more the merrier.

The problem is, there are so many people doing the same thing and covering the same categories, it's not easy to stand out from the crowd and be noticed. Unless of course, you don't present your product listings in the exact same way.

That's where my out the box thinking comes into play.

One of the newest methods I've started using to try and gain more visibility for my product listings, is to provide vivid signs, to serve as sign posts to other products.

These Signs Point to Upcoming Deals & Bargains

So what's up with the colorful shopper alert signs that I started inserting in various areas of my Benable lists?

It's simple...

Anyone who's been to my Benable Profile page (and possibly arrived on this story as a result of it) has seen the above two images, posted in strategic places, amongst some of the products I've listed.

Well everyone - FYI:

The sign on the left will alert shoppers to an upcoming product(s) in the next section, typically products that in some way, relate to the section you're currently browsing.

Once you approach the area where the product is posted, you immediately see the second sign - the one that let's you know you've arrived at the "featured" product(s) you were alerted to.

This is just my "out of the box" thinking on how I can keep the attention of the shoppers browsing on my page. But of course - I plan to deliver by providing some cool products for them to check out.

True, many individuals are merely window shopping, but typically, everyone is usually hoping to stumble onto something worth their time and attention, and when they find it, they don't mind purchasing it.

That's how it is when you go shopping IRL, outside the online community.

Hopefully, the same will apply when it comes to my little online store.

So if you stumbled onto my Benable Profile page and one of my signs happened to capture your attention - my work here is done 😄.

If you haven't already done so, feel free to visit: Justiss Goode on Benable. And if you're a writer who is still stuck doing things inside the box, maybe it's time you thought about escaping.

Thanks for reading.
