You can use gold to recruit Lu Ban in Tavern while you can not recruit Lu Xun in this easy free way. The higher the quality of the general, the harder it is to get.

There are no special events now, so you can only get Lu Xun in general tokens. General tokens containing Lu Xun include Epic General, Epic Historic General, and Epic Historic General (Premium). But which one can be obtained by using these tokens is random. If you are lucky, you may be able to get Lu Xun with just one token. On the contrary, you may not be able to get it even with dozens of tokens.

However, you can get Lu Ban once it appears in Tavern as long as you save up the specified amount of gold. Although which one will appear in the Tavern is random, you can refresh it manually.
