So, on Netflix, there is a series called Bridgerton. In that series, a lot of English is spoken, litres of tea are sipped, dances are danced and elegant furniture and decor are displayed. In that series also, there are many characters, black and white, young and old. Among those characters ladies and gentlemen, there is a man, a handsome chocolate fountain with pink lips, a chest enough for me and my afro hair to find rest, and since I have looked close enough, he has donkey meat below the waist. Oh yes!
But that is not even the point.
(Pauses to fan self furiously)
The point is his tongue ladies and gentlemen. Ah! Rege- Jean Page's tongue is blessed! That tongue is favored! That tongue is blessed in its going out and coming in! That tongue deserves British Airways miles to travel round the world round and round as it does on that spoon. That tongue deserves an interest-free IMF loan so that it can buy itself anything it so wishes to lick including me because all I need is a date, venue, and veet shaving cream, can the congregation say yaaaaaas!
God, the creator of all these fine women our men keep liking on Instagram, these women who our men use to dream good dreams and suffocate their monkeys with, thank you for remembering us your female children. Because of Duke, your very own gift to females across the world, we too have a chest to admire, and a tongue to dream good dreams. You are just!
