Infusing Visual Storytelling into Car Reviews

Does the new Ram 1500 Limited continue the legacy and original intent?

If you love cars, trucks, and overlanding on an open road you’ll love the story that I can’t wait to share about a vehicle that is staying true to its original purpose while keeping up with modern technological innovations!

Alright, buckle in and let’s go (just please don’t read this while driving).

Now imagine the last extended road trip you took with family or a dear friend. You start getting excited when you see a farm or orchid on the way, or a train that you remember counting the box cars as a kid, or the popular antique billboard sign with, “The Thing: Next Right” written on it that as a kid you were way more enthusiastic and annoyingly asked dad, “can we stop, can we stop there for a few minutes pleeeeeaaaaassssseeeeee?” The answer was always no. Then the popular extended road trip games, like I-Spy that you played until all the passengers fell asleep but you. The last two are mere memories today. But there’s one more that is more subtle than passing by the farms or orchids that happens frequently and that’s, which gas station are we going to pass next? This was before gasbuddy.com was a thing. Usually the bigger named stations offer the smallest restrooms while the smaller less common ones offered an exceptionally clean, spacious store, and restrooms leaving the most memorable impact on you.

This is part of what spurred me to shift my thinking to a truck really isn’t just a truck. They are not all created equal even though brands try to outdo one another each year. Of course there’s always going to be a team for this brand or that… But the story I’m sharing celebrates the new 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Edition, a beast jacked up with size and latest technology, yet a beauty in automatic 4-wheel drive handling whether leaving the city for a dirt or mountainous road or coming back from. To someone watching from outside it’s been thought to look like Lady Dimitrescu walking tall without breaking a sweat in her high heels (or at least my brother tells me who’s obsessed with gaming).

Unlike most truck stops, or car video reviewers along your journey, that try to fill you up with all the bells and whistles and comparisons between vehicles. There is one however, that went an extra mile like a few truck stops that become your favorites on the road when they prepare an exceptionally clean and spacious rest area to welcome you.

The video I’m sharing isn’t a rest area but it delivered a kind of relief and peace that I don’t often get from most car review videos. Without further ado, “Our Story with Ram1500 Limited” thought a bit differently on how they reviewed the truck. I sincerely hope it sets a new standard in car video reviews…

And last but not least is their driver point of view ride-along without dialogue to share the first person experience of being the driver of the Ram 1500 Limited. The part that intrigued me the most was the rear camera that turns on in the center mirror showing you a non-obstructed view of what traffic or nature is behind you. That blew my mind as I took the virtual ride along. I thought, “what will they think of next?”

Note: Timestamps for each piece in the driver POV experience are in the description below the next video.

Overall based on the virtual experience that Benxeen Autos brought here, the Ram 1500 Limited has stayed true to its original purpose of going where other cars or trucks can’t or don’t go without a lot of effort. It will literally help you Ram your dam, or whatever doubt or obstacle seeks to slow you down. Ram is the vehicle to help you cross the uncomfortable threshold to an elevated you!
