Don’t Become A Robot To Prove Yourself A Good Woman

There is a mistaken notion that society’s expectations of femininity can only be fulfilled by suppressing one’s humanity and obeying strict norms. But the truth is entirely different.

It is not necessary to give up our individuality or suppress our feelings in order to be a nice lady.

Rather, it is accepting our true selves and proudly and confidently expressing our individual qualities.

Compassion, empathy, and integrity are the traits of true goodness; these traits cannot be replaced by dumb obedience.

Developing real connections with others and developing inner strengths are more important goals for women to aim for than striving for robotic perfection.

This means recognizing oneself as imperfect, at risk, and open to the whole range of human emotions.

In addition, a decent woman will support justice, equality, and the empowerment of all people, regardless of gender.

It involves questioning cultural expectations and biases that restrict women’s potential and promote inequality.

We have the power to bring about positive change and build a more equal and welcoming society for coming generations by raising our voices and using our influence.

In the end, being a decent woman has nothing to do with giving up our authenticity or trying to live up to expectations from others.

Accepting our humanity, individuality, and ability to change the world are key components of this.

So Ladies!!!

Let’s reject the idea that we should become robots and instead honor the diversity and depth of our experiences as women, understanding that what makes us valuable isn’t conformity but rather the capacity to accept who we really are.

In a world that demands conformity,

Don't lose yourself in its uniformity.

Don't become a robot to prove your worth,

For your uniqueness is your greatest birth.

Society's expectations may weigh you down,

But don't let them turn your smile into a frown.

You don't need to fit into their mold,

Your authenticity is worth more than gold.

You're not defined by the roles you play,

Or the words others might say.

You're a woman, strong and true,

With the power to decide what you pursue.

Don't sacrifice your dreams for their approval,

Don't let their judgments be your removal.

You're allowed to be soft and strong,

To dance to your own unique song.

Embrace your flaws and imperfections,

They're a part of your unique collection.

Don't become a robot to fit their plan,

You're a masterpiece, just as you stand.

So rise above the noise and the crowd,

Be proud of who you are, stand tall and proud.

Don't become a robot, be a woman true,

For the world needs the real, authentic you.

Author's Notes:

I wanted to talk about how many women feel pressured to live up to society's standards and how it's possible to lose oneself in a search for approval. The idea of losing one's identity and individuality in an attempt to fit in or prove one's value is expressed by the image of turning into a robot.

My intention was to share the idea that women shouldn't be made to submit to stereotypes of what it takes to be a "good woman," but rather instead accept and celebrate who they really are, wounds and all. Genuineness and the guts to be oneself—even when it means breaking expectations—are the keys to true strength.

With this poem, I aim to remind all women that they are worthy and valuable just the way they are, and that they should never feel the need to change who they are in order to validate their value. They are precious , they are strong ,they are godesses on the Earth for sure.
