Denver is a mile high, almost reaching to the sky,
Indianapolis is 500 around, all of which touch the ground,
Seattle has its rainy days, not much time for outside play,
Tallahassee, a capital town, where warm and sunny days abound,
Richmond, is it really rich or just an old, fabled hitch,
Atlanta brags of the Georgia peach, juicy and sweetness found in each,
Columbus, did he land here, of course not, too far inland dear,
Toronto, one out of the country admitted, cold Canadian nights submitted,
Irving, in the great state of Texas I say, where the mighty Cowboys play,
Orlando, not Tony of course, but fantasy town, where a cat can be a horse,
Nashville, oh play me a country tune, time to go now, not a second too soon!!
