The Monsters you made

When promises are abandoned, monsters are born

Deep in the shadows, where promises wane,

We stand tall, the monsters you made.

With voices solid, we stand proud,

No more deceptions, not one more day.

You vowed streets cleared, with waters clear,

However, laughed at our requests, marked us with dread.

In reverberations empty, your falsehoods overflow,

Be that as it may, truth stays, the monsters you made.

Guarantees broke, similar to glass they break,

Abandoning an unpleasant wake.

Great compensation you promised, yet pennies paid,

Joke hidden in guarantees influenced.

From earth's rich belly, you drew and took,

However left us nothing, an unfilled opening.

We ascend from remains, unafraid,

For we are the beasts you made.

As night falls, our voices rise,

An orchestra of truth, cutting ties.

Presently not shackled, as of now not influenced,

We recover our power, unafraid.

So let your allegations blur,

For in your appearance, reality showed.

We are not monsters, as you strutted,

rather, we are the echoes of the monsters you made.
