Poem for the Full Moon contest:

Working away at the clinic and there are

six photocopiers! That's excessive.

I go up to one and then he walks in!

Oh my!

God he seems so flamboyant-

A scarf draped around his neck-

Glitter glamour.

My tall, handsome doctor

turned into Elton John.

"Hi," He is greeting me!

I say "Hi."

And another voice behind me says "Hi."

He wasn't talking to me.

My blasé attitude saves the day.

No embarrassment here people.

I'm so in my element in this land of dreams.

I continue to work that photocopier with so much sass,

without the worry of rejection.

My doctor man can be who he wants to be

and greet anyone he wants.

I put my feelings in those photocopier buttons.

Touched with a bit of pain

but mostly with rainbow love.
