Bringing out the dinosaur

Shall I compare thee to a stegosaur, pray?

Thou art more spiky and more ungulate.

Rough hands do take the darling spuds away,

When bangers'n'mash I want upon my plate.

Sometime too hot, your pepper breath doth sear

And tinged with gin and tonic, wine and beer.

And every fayre beware your entry there,

When often drunk you will appear.

For thy eternal boozing shall not fade,

Nor lose possession of that slurring voice.

Nor shall Grace boast she lingers in your shade,

When striking her, a backhand was your choice.

So long as men shall live and eyes can see,

You'll bring about the dinosaur in me.
