When no one is around,
I'm looking at you;
your eyes, so deep.
A fool like me would go swimming
with sharks hidden beneath the surface,
to keep your attention,
because the end is near,
though I keep trying
to get you looking at me
the way you pretend to feel for her,
to fit in. You push me away;
please, just think of me
when the sun gets low
and you run through the grocery store I used to work for
looking desperately for the random thing
you never thought you'd need.

I can so relate to this poem. It reminds me of a sunset. Beautiful yet sad; because thats the end of a day that will never be again.
