Sailing the Sea of Life
The Ships We Travel
we have access to many ships,
traveling through,
and across,
the sea of life,
some we travel solo,
some we travel with others,
we find ourselves on,
friendships,
companionships,
worships,
ownerships,
leaderships,
fellowships,
and many others;
our journey places us,
aboard one of these ships,
day to day,
and,
when we leave one,
and board another,
we realize,
sailing is not always,
smooth and simple,
we fight waves and storms,
we fight judgement,
when deciding to,
“ride out the storm”,
“abandon ship”,
or even,
“go down with the ship”,
all of which,
mold our inner anchors,
when the waves are pounding,
and thrashing our ship,
we must believe,
each ship we board,
is preparing us, for,
special purposes,
special meanings,
and,
special memories,
of our journey!!
knowing,
each ship is prepared,
to accommodate,
every need in our life,
savor the ride,
enjoy the pleasures,
cherish the moments,
and,
sail smooth waters always to,
the destination in waiting!!
just a bit of revamping something I wrote long ago, never knowing what ship was next for me, thanks for reading!!

I love the analogy of ships that you've used! Your poem was so profound! The only thing I regret in my life is not pushing some people off my ship which would have made me have a smoother sail. Lol. Loved your poem!
