Road Song

Each city is different, one road connects them all.

Louisville

Is beautiful in the morning

Nashville

Is better at night

Chicago

Is always dangerous

Gary

An appalling sight

Indy

Is better at high speed

Pass it

And keep going fast

In Milwaukee

The battle is block to block

Rockford's time

Has passed

Madison

Is a socialist bubble

Beloit

A Rust Belt shell

Minneapolis

Has an identity crisis

St. Paul

Has one as well

Memphis

Is too deadly to visit

Tupelo

Has nothing to draw

New York City

Always smells of urine

Buffalo

Is still waiting to thaw

Freeways

Connect then all

People

Tend to divide

NIMBY

And by-laws and other folderol

Paranoia

Keeping everyone inside

Media

Slogans and demographics

T-shirts and GIFs and flags

Sorting

By charts and by channels

In buckets and breakouts

And bags.
