Mother Nature
Eclipse this Winter and Give Us Spring.
Every time I set my glass down, it leaves a ring.
Cool water in that familiar shape of infinity.
Little planet of molecules, combed right out of the air, as if cloud carried.
I fall to my knees in reverence, complex miracles of mundanity, this sparkling symphony, our beloved galaxy.
Phenomenon of thunder clouds banging with soul-splitting sound, rain falling from the open hand of gravity.
So tender are the leaves that raise their flags on the branches of trees, offering shade from sun's blazing heat.
Eclipsed by winter woe and longing, we lick our wounds and lay in wait for mother's womb to deliver spring.

What if Hitler won WWII in the 1990s
In 1992 Riyadh, a young man named Sabaah speaks out against an extremist mullah preaching violence against German occupiers in the Middle East. Police break up the increasingly agitated crowd. 💪 In the jungles of Venezuela, Captain Tomlin leads American forces against fascist guerillas armed by the German Reich. The intense firefight highlights the challenges of the "peacekeeping" mission that has turned into a war. 🔫 President Eric Johnson holds a tense press conference, dodging questions about aligning US foreign policy with the Reich's interests and the growing crisis in Venezuela, which he downplays as an insurgency rather than a German-backed army. 🙄 In Berlin, a German woman named Erma, disillusioned with the Reich after being ostracized for infertility, has secretly gathered evidence of Nazi medical atrocities as a spy for the US. She prepares to defect with help from her American handler. 🕵️♀️ At CNN Studios in Atlanta, an anchor grimly announces that the network will be broadcasting shocking footage exposing the Third Reich's ongoing atrocities and human experimentation, provided by a brave German defector. 📺💣 In the Oval Office, a furious President Johnson berates the CIA director for not informing him about "Project Bluebird", a secret program investigating the Reich authorized by President Kennedy in 1967 without presidential oversight. 😡 The CIA director reveals that Project Bluebird, while constitutionally questionable, was deemed necessary to counter German influence over US politics. He expects to resign as a sacrificial lamb to protect the CIA from the President's wrath. 🤐 The exposure of the Reich's atrocities and the secret US investigation into them deals a severe blow to President Johnson's pro-German stance. The CIA director is certain Johnson will not run for re-election. 😬 The events of the 1990s in this alternate timeline highlight the complex geopolitical situation, with an ascendant German Reich exerting influence globally, and the US engaged in proxy conflicts and covert operations to counter them. 🌍💪 The revelations about ongoing Nazi atrocities and secret US investigations set the stage for a major shift in the global balance of power and public opinion, with far-reaching consequences for the world order established after Hitler's victory in WW2. 🤯
