MORE 50 word Critiques in free verse? Oh no! 😅
A few more of my favourite things- and YES, I am STILL cleaning out my WIP.. 🚧 ..a broken record I know. 🥸😎
The “Game of Thrones” Opening Titles & Theme Music - composed by Ramin Djawadi
“It can be very dark and moody, but also beautiful and emotional at the same time”. - Ramin Djawadi on the opening titles theme.
👑
“Quick! Our show is streaming!” -
Could be heard in households
Across the globe,
Perfect and sublime opening titles,
with nuanced theme music
that sets the world, geography &
epic tone of the show.
Multilayered instruments, with a sweeping effect,
Somehow, you could even manage to sing
this instrumental piece with your friends! 😅🤣
👑
The Super Sexy GOT Opening Titles. ⬇️ Sing it with me “neh neh nah nah neh neh!” 🎶😅
“Eyes Wide Shut” (film) Directed by Stanley Kubrick (1999)
“The important thing is: we're awake now. And hopefully... for a long time to come.” - Alice (Nicole Kidman)
🎄
A wife’s confession,
A husband’s late-night odyssey,
might involve murder -
Introduction of a mysterious cult,
in the form of a masked orgy, 🎭
Virtuoso filmmaking,
A truly haunting soundtrack
make this film an intimate epic,
A favourite ‘Christmas’ movie among many,
It plays on your dark heart &
cerebral cortex,
Let it!
🎄
The “Eyes Wide Shut” christmas edited trailer ⬇️ 😅
Soundtrack to “Dances with Wolves” - composed by John Barry
🦬 🐺
Sublime soundtrack that frequently lifts my spirits
And takes me away,
I sometimes use to play
when I’d work from home,
To get me through copious amount of paperwork,
It’s an adventure, dream, a passionate love affair,
and a testament to
the beauty of
the natural world -
It’s a masterpiece.
🦬 🐺
One of my favourites pieces ⬇️ ☺️

The Game of Thrones theme is instantly recognisable to anyone who's watched, and your critique hits so many of the things that we used to feel when watching during its original run! "with a sweeping effect" absolutely.
I love this. I also really loved those 50 word critiques for the challenge a few months ago. I had a lot of fun seeing how many I could do
Loved this. So well done and spot on on each piece...though Eyes Wide Shut as a Christmas movie hits differently lol! Congrats on Top Story, buddy!
Skillfully put together. Congratulations on your top story.
This was so well done. You ought to take recommendations on movies and series, you are a natural. Congrats on the top story
Absolutely gorgeous free verse critique ideas. Beautifully written. Congrats on TS.
Great choices , Although I have yet to see Eyes wide shut. Congratualtions
Back to say congratulations on your Top Story! 🎉💖🎊🎉💖🎊
Love your style and unique perspective here on popular media and culture
🤩 Entertaining as always my friend!!! Well done and congrats!
Way 2 Go G! This was fantastic!
These are both so funny and accurate xD Keep these going!!
Grz, I love all of these. Your critiques and the films. I can remember the music from the orgy scene in Eyes Wide Shut so clearly - creepy, pagan, mythical. And GOT music is epic. Loved it. I love John Barry and Dances with Wolves makes me weep. Thanks for taking me back through all of these. Glad your WIP is being cleansed. Good for the soul.
Wonderful!!! Congratulations on Top Story!!!❤️❤️💕
Haha what a fun read! Thank you for this! Now I gotta check some stuff out!
Congratulations on Top Story!
The joyful madness of collectively singing instrumental music is cleverly caught herein! Nice work!
I love your idea of mini-critiques in free verse. You packed a lot in. Congrats on Top Story!
How could I forget that "Eyes Wide Shut" was a Christmas movie? I didn't forget about the orgy or the cult, lol.
Really takes you back but very well written love those descriptive words
Introduction of a mysterious cult, in the form of a masked orgy, Those were my favourite part but "way to go me" for reading "cult" as another 4 letter C word 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I really enjoyed this.
Great work Grz!!! I have not watched either film. But I know that both are top notch. I need to get my booty and gear and watch them both. John Barry is the master of film music. He has won five academy Awards and four Grammy Awards among many other Awards. He won both an academy Award and a Grammy award for Dances with Wolves.
I have always LOVED soundtracks...haven't figured out why though....????
fantastic writing!
