Small mercies makes the world less dark and cold,

In the quiet heart's chamber, where mercy dwells,

there resides a virtue, a beacon in life.

Mercy, a gentle river, flowing free,

Softening the edges of our humanity.

In its embrace, forgiveness finds its home,

Healing wounds that once bled to the core.

Mercy whispers of grace, a soothing melody,

Calming storms, bringing peace like a psalm.

Mercy, the bridge over troubled waters,

Where empathy dances with humility.

It sees beyond faults, in the depth of pure souls,

Offering solace, unlocking love's door.

In moments of darkness, when hope seems thin,

Mercy shines bright, a guiding light within.

For in its embrace, we find our comfort,

And through its touch, our spirits find peace.

There's really nothing like it - wonderful, sweet mercy. Beautiful poem.
