Memories are all we have left of our lost loved ones
We try so hard to conjure them up in our minds eye
But time is the enemy of our minds and we forget
Not because we want to, in reality we want to relive them over and over
It is our way of making sure our loved ones live on.
Pictures are all we have left, so we cling onto them
Every so often we open our album so that we can reminicise
Go back in time, and relive those moments over and over again
Sometimes we smile, other times tears fall down our cheeks
We wish that we could see them, even if only for a while.
Days turn into weeks, months into years, pictures fade
As we get older we realise that one day, we will just be a memory
To our friends and family, and so the story goes on
We have a short time on this earth
So we have to live the best life we can for those we love.

This was so wonderful. We make good memories whole we live for others to remember us by!
