Judge & Jury

… grudge or fury

Judge & Jury

To what degree, to what extent?

To what does it refer?

Do I agree, do I dissent?

With what do I concur?

.

Am I judge, or am I jury?

Am I qualified to know?

Was it grudge, or was it fury?

Was it justified as so?

.

Was it seen, or was it hidden?

Was it cleverly disguised?

Had it been forbidden?

Was it knowingly comprised?

.

Confusion reigns in knots and tangles,

and no-one gains when judgement dangles.

.

About the Creator

Tim Grace

A first impression has a lasting effect - it makes a notable difference. In a subtle way that’s who I am as a poet. A ‘first impression’ looking for the gentle ‘twist’ that draws attention to a novel observation.
