it isn't paranoia

if it's really there

it isn't paranoia

between two things

that's where the magic comes in

where declarations become what had happened was

when the moon has no shine

this is the middle

where light is blinding from the source

life as the eyes of a storm

built since our parent's parent's parents won the war

they didn't start the fire

but they did modernize the fuel

no plans to douse the blaze

hope it suffocates itself

under the wait and hurry paces

i could mention it

but then it demands management be aware

it is what it isn't that way

a dream come true to lose it

everybody's lover is covered in scars

the worst ones can't be seen from the outside in

because somebody said love hurts

but hurt people hurt people hurt people

an order that is nothing new

monetize what can't be stocked

the desire for the seen yet ungrasped

need to be needed to be validated and approved

and i went nowhere again today

never staying and always in the same place

falling in love with my imagination

because i wished to be a disco boy for a day

and dance away the painful

now i don't wanna talk about it anymore

but it isn't paranoia if it's really there
