Expectations are deceiving

try another point of view

Remove your expectations,

Let me make this observation clear.

People gonna say and do,

What they want to say round' here.

Some words said might offend you,

They may lead you into rage.

But most are living in there own,

Don’t mean to rattle any cage.

Let go of pride and listen,

Words used should build up

Not tear down.

Take the negativity away and turn that pride around.

Mind your thoughts and actions,

Are you living what you speak?

Are you helping to make better,

bringing comfort to the weak?

Or do you stomp around in anger vengeful,

Stirring up the storm?

Casting shadows on the ground,

Curse the day that you were born.

Expectations can be deceiving,

Sometimes selfish motives grow.

Be prepared to admit that sometimes you don’t know what you don’t know.

Experience is a great teacher,

Trust me, if you fall behind you’ll see.

It’ll gladly reassign a lesson,

In ways you won’t believe.

So drop the expectations,

Relax and realize.

Life is filled with much more meaning,

When you see through others eyes!
