E verything above us in the universe is so vast, so wide, so entirely massive, and we will never see it.
C ry as we may, it’s the truth—we as people will never be able to truly see the world, to understand its layers, its workings, the life beyond us—to know how complex it all really is.
L iving on Earth can be a real bummer. Don’t you want to see what else there is? Doesn’t it break you knowing you never will?
I t can drive you crazy, thinking about the universe for too long. Thinking about how small we are, how insignificant. Thinking of how we are a speck within a speck within a slightly larger speck.
P lease, I want to see it! I want to experience all there is to see and know out there. Even with how far we’ve come, we are so young and so underdeveloped. There has to be a way.
S ome day, there just has to be. What a tragedy it would be for our people to live in ignorance forever.
E clipses and shooting stars are all we can watch from afar, all the way down here. And I guess, for now, we have to be okay with that.

I like how this poem moves from frustration to acceptance or at least understanding (that there are things we can’t understand haha). “ Thinking of how we are a speck within a speck within a slightly larger speck” is a good line too Angela🤗
Living on Earth is definitely a bummer. Your Acrostic was very deep and thought provoking. I loved it!
There is so much of the world we have to experience, indeed. We'll never get round to completing the task. Well said, Angela.
