When Darkness breaks its broken shell,
And Light fizzes in wild pell-mell,
Its seeping ooze begins to spread,
A knob of golden butter-
on brown crusty bread.
.
Glowing trees cast sleepy shadows,
Stretching hungry fingers over ivory pianos.
Oceans dance on refracting beams,
Awash and renew, the Dispeller of dreams.
Its heat crashes over frozen earth,
In babbling brooks full of mirth.
.
Light sings on gusting winds,
A song of hope and new begins,
Darkness drains into soil,
Begone for now-
Life uncoil.
