Oh, the ever-present carrot. A staple diet for rabbits, incredibly beneficial to eyesight, and the base for one of the best cakes ever imagined! This root vegetable tastes good and is loaded with nutrients and vitamins!

It's likely that the vivid orange root with the verdant foliage comes to mind first when someone thinks of a carrot. The identical one that's frequently observed protruding from a snowman's face in the winter.
