What is a lie?

What is true?

Questions like the ones above are dead ends and endless pits. You can see how this oxymoron is true, if a pit is endless, then the pursuit of finding anything is a dead end. However, have you considered that exact same scenario as it relates to life?

If everyone believed that fish were raining from the sky (although they actually have for explained reasons) then our actions would change the environment we lived in, thus changing our reality. This is obviously a lie but as it was believed to be the truth, change was created, thus another truth was created. How could this help us find out that fish aren't actually raining from the sky? By examining the change it causes. If the lie or new truth causes strife, incumbency, or death, then the so-called "truth" was a lie. However, there is another type of lie aside from a verbal or corporal one. This one is called the ego.

The ego is the lie of self and its potential for change. If you taut that you are the strongest being to exist, then you are in fact lying to yourself or feeding your ego. However, in order to become the strongest, you have to lie or "believe", which in my opinion means "be the lie", to cause lasting change. Again, if you think you are the strongest, you better act according to that truth which means that you are training every day, every night and moment. This is the only way your ego or self-lie can empower you and lead you to the truth.

Lies always have a degree of truth in them, thus they will eventually trail back to the truth. Lust is the lie or piece of love that trails back to genuine attraction. That piece can be isolated and focused upon (just engaging in coitus) or it can be explored and refined to enhance existing love. The lie of nonacceptance can also be a blessing in disguise. Losing someone can turn you to venerating and celebrating the life they had and your current life, as they live on through you.

The losses and hurt that lies cause can also help lead to truth. When you receive backlash from telling a lie about someone, you may see their anguish, hurt, and anxiety. With all the chaos circulating, you may learn something personal about them which may even connect you both. The truth may escape, as it has been cracked (lied about).

Lies also have false frames and are usually very particular or insanely broad with lots of conjecture or redundant explanation. This also means that lies are often repeated and yes, with repetition, belief is soon to follow. Continuing on, however, repeated lies have the most eyes as well and if that frame breaks at any point skepticism will always follow, eventually leading to the truth.

The best false frame is a "true lie", despondently different from the "believing" process stated previously. This is a lie that may or may not have truth embedded in it but is believed by a plethora of people, so many in fact that it seems to be true even when tested. This lie goes by many names, most aptly, confirmation bias and or group think. A polarizing version of a true lie are stereotypes. It may seem that all African Americans like fried chicken, and even when asking a few hundred, you would conclude that this lie is actually the truth. We all know that this stereotype is a lie, but to some it is the "truth". These are the hardest to dispel because massive amounts of people who not only repeat the lie but also are averse to knowing the truth. Untruths such as these are self-accepted safe-zone calculations that are made to keep the individual's mental frame the same without any evolution. The only hurt and loss that can be achieved through this is to have the masses that believe the lie to act upon it and never change due to the aforementioned reason or even fear. So, in truth, the "true lie" has to be weaponized because it is purely and utterly fiction. The individual must want to change to reveal this truth.

All in all, lies, truths, and everything in between are only but one part of a multifaceted occurrence in this wonderfully confusing thing we call life.
