We all have occupations. Occupations provide us with the means of survival and living. Through occupations we find our predisposition, ambitions, values, and passions. From ages to ages, we may change occupations due to challenges unsurmountable or simply due to a change of interests or point of view.

Whatever it may be, we find sustenance from holding on to our occupations. Some people keep grinding and polishing their crafts to become more expert in them. Some find that they have to abandon what they do in order to go on and find the next spark of their heart.

In this world, there are four main types of occupations, which in turn define the occupation category that a person fits into. Before we go into detail, we can first brainstorm some occupations around us. For example, if you would look at your colleagues, what broad category of occupation can you fit them in? Can you figure out what they are? Okay, let's get started :

1. Homemaker (For Girls/Women)

The first and easiest category of occupation that a person may participate as is the homemaker. In this occupation, usually reserved for girls and women, the person usually works as a housewife, doing chores and tasks such as cooking, cleaning, caring for children and elderlies, and also housekeeping. An easy example of a person who does this occupation is your wife and also your mother. This occupation doesn't require much, except for lots of patience, diligence, and love!

2. Developer

In this occupation category, a person's role in this world is to develop new things for others to build on or use. For example, software framework and technology developer fits into this category. This would mean that this type of a person needs to be extremely clever and intelligent. Scientists are usually developer of new scientific knowledge and concepts. Using this new knowledge, technologists develop new fun techs to be played with!

3. Constructor

Constructor usually didn't develop things by themselves and then go on to deploy them for use. Constructor usually build upon what the developers have developed for public use. For example, let's say you're an IT networking specialist. Obviously, you never invented the networking switches that you acquire for your company and deployed them throughout your workplace. All you did in order to be able to construct a networked office environment is to study the basics of network switches or maybe just flip some pages from the manuals that come with them. Then you go on and use those network switches. That's you as a constructor, merely having knowledge to use the things others have built.

4. Business People

Lastly, the fourth type of occupation one may participate in is as the business people. In this occupation, a person is highly trained as a manager, managing everything from time, resources, funds, and to people! A business person must go about sealing deals and contracts as well operating as the forge of the vision and mission of the business. Business people are very important in the construction of businesses around the world. These businesses in turn hire employees who will make money for the business and get paid in terms of salary monthly. What will happen is that business will drive the flourishing of a place's economy. Business people are highly regarded as they makes the world go round. With money, a lot of things can get done!

Ahoy, what other category of occupations in this world can you think of? Leave me some comments if you like what I've just written!

Thank you. Much love!
