It looks like Peter Porte is not returning to Days of Our Lives

Dimitri may not be coming back to Salem after all

Wednesday on Days of Our Lives, Leo Stark ( Greg Rikaart) was excited at the prospect of being reunited with the love of his life, Dimitri Von Louechner (Peter Porte). Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfatey) told Leo last week that his lover was being released from prison and he began makign mental plans . Some fans said they were eager to find out how Janet Drucker would handle the couple after Albert Alarr had them front and center all the time. Now it looks like Days viewers may never know.

It appears that Dimitri has found himself a new love while in prison and shared the news with Leo via a "Dear John" letter. Leo was devastated because this came out of nowhere, and he thought Dimitri felt as he did. In the correspondance he said they were not good for each othe which broke Leo's heart.

Things could always change, and Von Louechner might one day return to Salem but it looks like it will not be the case now. His breaking up with Leo could mean that he is gone for good but on soap you never really know. Perhaps Stark might leave town and try to find Dimitri

What changes does Drucker have in store?

Perhaps Drucker is closing this chapter, and Leo will go on to something or somebody different. Fans now wonder what this means for the storyline. How will this breakup affect Leo, and what will he do to console himself? There needs to be someone onscreen who might be a love interest for Stark, but DOOL could always bring a new character to Salem.

With Dimitri out of the way, Leo is the only witness to what happened the night Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker ) gave birth. Days viewers are curious about how the storyline with Baby Jude Brady will be resolved now that Zucker is out as Nicole. Leo seems likely to spill the truth that Jude is Nicole's baby at some point, but when?

The storyline already has Nicole and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughn) working together at the Spectator. Leo's proximity to the baby's birth parents might cause him to feel guilty as he did during the christening in the church. Leo might be unable to help himself and yell out what happened.

Will Leo spiral out of control because he lost Dimitri?

Will Leo spiral out of control now that he has lost the man he loves? Will he pick up on the fact that Nicole and Eric's feelings may grow while working near each other at the Spectator? How will Sloan and EJ Dimera (Dan Feuerriegel) react?

Will they become jealous and plot together, as some spoilers suggest? The rumor mill teases that EJ might discover that Jude is Eric's son and that he and Sloan will keep the truth to themselves to maintain their relationship. How will Leo respond to others knowing his secret?

What's in store for Leo, Nicole, EJ, Eric and Sloan?

Is it possible that Zucker will work things out with DOOL, or will her character be replaced? Could Nicole be killed off, and Eric and Sloan raise Jude together? It's not clear at this point what direction the soap is taking or how any of this will be finalized, but viewers know that Leo will be in the midst of all the drama.
