Bodkin Netflix Review | Fun Experience! Be sure to watch

Bodkin is a dark comedy mystery drama series that was released in Hindi on Netflix. Let me tell you that this series has seven episodes, and each episode is between 40 and 55 minutes. Now, finally, I have watched this series, and through this review ride, I am sharing whatever good or bad experience I have had after watching this show.

Story

First of all, let me give you all a little idea of its story. This series takes us to Gilbert, Dove, or Emmy; all three of them come to the small town of Bodkin in Ireland in search of a story for a true crime podcast. After coming here, they start investigating the case of the sudden disappearance of three people during a festival years ago, and to know what twists and turns come in the lives of these three, you will have to watch this series.

Now let's talk about my experience watching this series. So, see, this series is a fun experience. Here, you will get to see a decent mix of dark comedy and mystery. This is not a series that will hold your attention completely from the very first episode; it's not like that.

At least by the end of episode 3, you'll find yourself deeply invested in the story and characters, and after that, the story keeps getting interesting with every passing episode.

You will get to see a lot of layers in the mystery of this series, and as it keeps unfolding, your enjoyment of watching the series will increase. You will get to see a lot of twists and turns in the story, and then you will get to see a satisfying ending to this series. 

The rest of the character work in the series is so good that you will easily get invested in all three main characters.

All three main characters have completely different personalities from each other. That's what makes watching them together so fun.

As the show progresses, you will also get to know the backstory of the characters, due to which you will become emotionally connected to them.

The rest of the setting of Ireland in the show is very beautiful, as is the music of the series, the overall production work, and the performances of the actors. Everything in the show is good.

Negative Points

Now if we talk about the weak points of this series, then, as I have already told you, it will take two to three episodes for you to develop a good interest in the story and characters of this series.

Moreover, while the comedy hits the mark in certain moments, it falls flat in others, and yes, you will also see some element of predictability in the story.

Well, despite some such issues, overall, this is a fun-to-watch series. If you like watching comedy mystery dramas, you're in for a treat. It's the perfect way to spend some time relaxing and enjoying yourself.

Conclusion

Keep in mind that you cannot watch this series with your family because in this series you get to see sex scenes or nudity and also hear some adult language.

Plus, the story has been ended in such a way that even if season 2 does not come, the story of this series is almost complete, but if the creators of this show want, they can continue the story in season 2.
