Total Eclipse of the Art
For Judey's 60 Second Storytelling Challenge
I attempted Judey Kalchik's 60 Second Storytelling Challenge and boy, was it!
My first idea was a crazy ‘Burning Man’ type festival thrown in honor of the eclipse. It would read like Bill Hader's 'Stefon' bit on SNL, a crazy list of bizarre attractions.
Then I went in a very different direction. I am not sure if I captured the essence of the challenge, but I had fun using the video editing software and isn't that what counts?
Video Transcript:
Anna works in a widget factory. She’s sad because the art she consumes makes her think too much, stunting her productivity.
On April 8th, at the precise moment the moon eclipses the sun, say goodbye to messy, heartfelt communication of human emotions in painting, performance, poetry, and song.
With ‘Total Eclipse of the Art,’ we intend to cover the earth in AI generated content. 100% of corporations agree. Art is dead. Content is king. Now, get back to work!
