It was a beautiful snowy night. She bundled up in her jacket and gloves to stand outside for a little while. As she opened the door, the cold breeze burned as it hit her face. Even so, she couldn't help but smile as she saw the sparkles all around her.

Suddenly, she was taken back in time, a much more simpler time. She remembered being a kid, excitedly watching the news at the least amount of snow fall, quietly begging for a snow day. How happy she was when her school was finally called! She never stayed out long, just enough to throw some snow balls and attempt to make a snow man. Then it would be back in to sit by the fire while drinking a cup of hot chocolate.

Now she was grown, though she still couldn't help but get excited any time she woke up to snow on the ground. Just as she did when she was a child, she would step out, throw a few snow balls, and she would be ready to sit by the fire.

As she looked at the beauty around her, she thought of how wonderful life could be. She thought of her hopes and dreams. Her dreams were different now then they had been all those years ago when her biggest wish was to be able to stay home from school. Still magical every time one came true. As the snow fell, she closed her eyes tightly, and spoke her heart.
