“Cover your eyes,” she said blindfolding me with her silk scarf, “it tastes sweeter that way.”
The honey-tongued stranger offered me her dragonfruit.
“They say once you try it…” her heartbeat quickened, “you’ll never go back.”
I was hooked from the first sip of its juice.
And never looked back.
