Shaking hands and kissing babies while walking the aisle, the politician checked each camera angle as he bowed his head. He spoke with utmost sincerity when asked about the latest tragedy due to incoherent laws. He offered thoughts and prayers for the latest victims as he reassured constituents it was not the time to discuss.
He took to the stage, spinning the second amendment to suit his donors. As piercing sounds of bullets cast through the air which then blasted his chest from someone disturbed, he wondered if the ad would play well.

That was very powerful. Just for clarification, you say at the end that he wonders if the ad would play well. Are you saying the whole thing is an ad of a supposed right wing politician skirting the conversation of gun control but then ends up being shot by someone with a gun? Therefore this politician really isn't being shot because it's an ad that speaks to the irony of the second amendment he is trying so much to protect.
