Arical Snow jumped up from her place on the gravel driveway. Her partner giggled behind her hand as she smiled up at the panicking ice queen.

"And that surprises you because," Her partner began to question before Arical turned on her heel to face her.

Holding out a hand, a slight snow squall developed in her palm. The snow turns from a light blue to a frosty white as the storm starts to whip faster. Arical closes her hand with a snap, and the squall disappeared in her fist.

"Hmpm," She pouts with crossed arms and a sour frown, "Can't believe you've never seen snow and yet here you are, married to an actual snow princess," Arical plopped back down in her spot next to her partner.

"Thought it was water," Her partner mumbles with a smirk toward the sun.

Arical huffs, "Not the point Ra! I'm not fulfilling my duties as any of those things if you've never even seen snow," Arical's body thumped the gravel driveway. Her back seethed in pain, her hands flying behind her head to intercept any damage.

Ra shook her head and lays down next to her, "You okay,"

"Never better," Arical gritted through her teeth as a small lump develops in the back of her head.

A light bulb pops into her mind, an idea so bright - her body starts to burn a light pink, and Ra moves away from her partner.

"Ari, you're starting to burn up. It's throwing me off, what's-" Before she could finish the sentence, Arical sat up and straddled her partner's lap.

Her body sprang against Ra's hips as she lay under her; her eyes slip close, and her mind started to drift off to lewd thoughts.

"I'm gonna make it snow everywhere," Arical yelped. Ra's golden orbs shoot open, meeting a pair of topaz orbs. Her brain started to piece together what her partner just said.

"You're going-"

"To make it snow! Mean, I've never made it snow on anything but a few house plants - I could try a state, or the country, or even the whole world! 'Mean can you imagine how many people have never seen snow, that would love too but can't? And I have the ability to change that!"

"You're serious about this, huh?" Ra asked with a shifty look in her eyes. Ari nodded rapidly and raced into the house as Ra stared up at the sky with a groan.

---

Arical, dressed in a Santa Claus costume with big red boots to match, climbed to the roof of her house as the sun set on the day. Arical rested her hands on her hips at the top of the roof, her eyes watery from the dry air. The temps for the night were going to be in the teens, perfect snow-making weather. The only problem was all the energy it would take to cover the globe in snow.

Her eyes glazed over as the waning moon started back at her - the shadow making a slight smirk mockingly. Arical sighed; the snow princess hadn't planned on the lack of moon for the evening.

"Maybe if I paid more attention to Ra, I wouldn't knew this," Arical's thoughts buzzed as her eyes continued to scan the sky, looking for a loophole or plot armor of some kind.

"Babe, what the hell are you doing?" Ra's voice rippled through the cold. Arical span around to face her, "And what the hell are you wearing?" Ra finally revealed herself from the same spot on the roof Arical had come from earlier.

"It's my Santa outfit, I wanna play the part you know?" Arical huffed, her cheeks puffed out as she crossed her arms and turned away from her partner. Ra giggled as she made her way over to Arical, her arms snaked around her waist gently.

"Hey, I was kidding around," Ra's eyes looked over the outfit again and smiled back up at Arical, "I think it's cute," Ra hid her laughter behind lip bitting and teary eyes. Arical pulled away from her grip and faced her, eyes stone cold.

"I can't do it Ra. The moon isn't full enough and I don't have enough experience to conduct without a full moon," Arical sighed with soft eyes at her partner. Arical turned back around on her heels to face the moon with a huff, "If only my mom or sister were here, they'd know what to do,"

"We would?" A soft voice came from behind Arical. Ra's eyes flashed school bus yellow before turning back to her soft golden tone. A soft teal glow engulfed Arical before the snow princess finally turned around and made eyes with her -

"Oh hey, sis, what's up?" Merry Christmas," Arical greeted carelessly. Her sister shook her head as her eyes fell on her partner. The glow around her turned to a navy blue as her feet finally touched the roof. Ra's eyes slowly turned back to the yellow from before, and a tiny spark came from her hand.

Arical stepped between the two of them quickly, "Okay, okay, I'm good Ísdís okay! And Ra, put that spark in park before the neighborhood is destroyed," The snow princess reassured the firey personalities; Ra backed down, and Ísdís' glow turned back to the teal color from before.

Arical relaxed, "And Ísdís, I'm upset because Ra has never seen snow and as a snow princess it's kinda messed up that I've married someone that's never seen snow and I have the. ability to make snow, you know? So I wanted to try and-" Ísdís covered her sister's mouth and looked back at Ra.

Ra shrugged, "I've never seen snow, and now she wants to shower the world in snow. But she can't without the full moon,"

Ísdís giggled and turned to Arical, covering her mouth, "Seriously? That's it," Arical nodded, "Oh my god Ari, why didn't you say something sooner,"

Arical mumbled, "I wanna do it myself,"

Ísdís rolled her eyes, twisting her sister around to face the moon; she pointed up toward the mocking moon with her sister's hand in her own.

Arical relaxed a bit as Ísdís started to transfer some of her power to Arical via the moon. Ra stood back; she took a quick look around to check where the edge of the roof was.

Arical breathed out as an artic glow surrounded her; Ísdís smiled as she felt the chill of her sister's glow against her side. Arical snapped her fingers and whispered, "Snjór um allan heim." toward the moon.

A silent boom rocked the sky and was felt by everyone, including Ra - who fell off the roof. Her scream echoed through the neighborhood as her body fell in slow motion.

There was only one noise - a thud. Ra opened her eyes, not realizing they were closed during the fall. Arical and Ísdís stood above her, checking her for bruises. Ra's eyes wandered past them as she caught glimpses of snowfall from the sky.

Ra hummed as everything went dark.

----

The next day, Ra was in front of a blazing fire with a weighted blanket. A chill shot through her body as she sat up fully, her eyes landing on the front yard full of snow.

Her head turned to the TV, on mute to allow her to sleep - where a reporter spoke about the miraculous snow worldwide. She saw images of people sledding, throwing snowballs, and more, with smiles on their cheeks and joy in their voices.

Ra stood up slowly and raced to the front door, throwing on her jacket and boots. Her body wasn't an inch out the door as a hard thud came from her back. She slammed the door before her and faced an idiot snow princess and firey ice goddess.

"Hey hey sleepyhead, took you long enough!" Arical laughed as she skipped toward her partner, snatching her hand tightly in hers. Ra smiled and pulled Arical into a hard hug. Arical relaxed under her touch and hugged back.

My driven, idiotic snow princess.
