I had my first crush when I was not very young, and I accepted it with all my heart. All of my family members, especially my husband, know about it. My children say naughtily that our mom’s happiness depends on something.

Regular meetings with him during the day are very important to me. Sleep gets hard for me if I don’t spend time with that crush. My cell phone was turned on by some strange force one night when I woke up in the middle of the night. Surprisingly, my crush was on the other end, waiting excitedly for my turn; how cute it was, Candy Crush.

It’s incredible how much I appreciate Candy Crush. It was a nice break that let me concentrate on something else to take my mind off things during the worst pandemic (COVID-19). Meetings, offices, and markets had all stopped. People’s behaviour changed undoubtedly: they became afraid while interacting with each other and decided to keep themselves in isolation.

I will share one of my funniest experiences: I went to a bakery with my kids. When I saw a male colleague inside the bakery, I was just about to say hi. He was not wearing a mask; he just jumped out of the shop, pretending he did not see me. Then I came to know that there was someone who died two streets before our home due to COVID. So, he tried his best not to communicate with me.

Although I think people often keep a distance in their hearts and don’t want to socialise with others owing to their hate, anger or frustration. Which they can’t express in the face of others; the Pandemic provided them with a scientifically valid reason to stay away.

Returning to my crush again, Candy Crush offered unlimited lives to its users during the lockdown. It was the first time players didn’t feel bored or have to wait for their lives to refill after a few hours. We could also purchase lives, but the generous king provided unlimited packages only during the lockdown. I want to express my gratitude because everywhere on news channels, there were updates about deaths, suffering, lockdowns, and isolation pressure; this crush taught me some important lessons.

I just passed a hard level (Picture belongs to Author)

My pandemic companion, Candy Crush, taught me vital lessons: Sometimes when things get rough, it helps to step away from the problem for a bit. It is crucial for mental well-being to find healthy ways to pass the time.

This was about my practical crush, where I reached 8807. If you also have the same crush, what level is yours? Please feel free to share your crush and its status, just like me, if you want to be comfortable. I am eager to learn more from all of you.
