Days 148-159 witnessed a complex unfolding of events following the overthrow of Billy and his crew. Amidst differing opinions on how to proceed, Ruslana, drawing on her past experiences, vehemently opposed a violent resolution. Instead, she ensured that Billy and his crew faced a makeshift prison for their crimes. The decision, tough but just, left a lingering doubt about the wisdom of confining Billy. Personally, I contemplated a more decisive and lethal solution.

Post-crisis, former captives expressed a desire to settle in a newfound oasis, but our group opted to move on, prioritizing safety. Despite Ruslana's commitment to the newfound community's protection, we headed towards Big Bear in the mountains. The situation complicated with Robby, the manipulator, at the center of debate. Lilith surprisingly defended him, revealing the coercion he faced. Despite distrust, Alexis insisted on taking Robby and his sister with us.

Days 155-159 saw our journey northward, with Robby's character becoming more apparent. Lilith warmed up to him, and Robby's dedication to his sister added complexity to his betrayal. As we pressed forward, the hope lingered that Robby and Meg could find a place within our unconventional family.

Days 160-172 unfolded in the aftermath of a distant nuclear explosion, marked by retaliatory strikes and a contemplation of the dwindling number of unscathed cities. Days 164-168 compelled us to traverse perilous routes towards Big Bear, facing water scarcity and navigating radioactive ruins. Days 169-172 unfolded amidst hazards, with makeshift protection against toxic fallout becoming a stark reality in our altered existence.

Days 173-182 marked a significant encounter with another group while resupplying. Tension dissolved as we mutually agreed to share supplies. Despite moments of warmth, bitter thoughts toward the past reminded me to remain cautious. As winter set in during Days 177-182, our ascent to Big Bear became more challenging, revealing the harsh realities of the post-apocalyptic world.

Days 183-200 presented unexpected challenges, including a cougar attack on Annie. Lucky and Robby's intervention earned them acceptance into the group. Relationships evolved positively, but concerns about the cougar's unusual aggression and the challenging mountain terrain lingered. Day 200 brought a shocking encounter with a crashing military Osprey, introducing a new set of challenges in our post-apocalyptic journey.
