Loving you is my favorite thing to do
An inverse Poem : Warfare or Fairytale
“To be, or not to be?”
that is the question,
a fairytale
is not
working overtime,
in order to acquire it, which is
simply a bliss!
my favorite thing to do,
is
loving you

Authors note:
This is an entry to the inverse poetry challenge and my tribute to the Mastermind of poetry, William Shakespeare.
“To be or not be” a line inspired by the Great Hamlet and love tale of Romeo and Juliet. Love between the two was so fierce it resulted in bloodshed. I propose the question in a poem that is read both ways, from top to bottom and bottom to top. A fairytale, or battlefield? How far are you willing to go? The outcome that lies here, is it worth it,
To be or not to be?

I like how you have alluded to two of his most famous works, and yourself created a poem that changes depending on how you read it! “A fairytale is not working overtime” can itself read two different ways, and it’s the line that stuck out to me. Well done😊
Oh this worked so well read bottom to top! You nailed it!
Nice ideas well done
Nicely done, Natasha. I had to read it twice both ways to take in the full import. Always the sign of a good poem in my estimation.
This was incredibly clever, Natasha. Loved it. Great entry!
Nice job
Tender and sweet. Great job, Natasha!
t'would be great to not have to work overtime to keep the love flame burning. If only that were not a fantasy for most of us.
Such a sweet poem!
