My life’s on the street seeking someone who shares
I’m homeless and hungry and live as a bum
It’s clear that I’m lacking but nobody cares
No care where I’m going or where that I’m from
But then came a woman who blessed me unreal
She offered me kindness and bought me a meal
I saw thru compassion what most of us lack
It’s love that gives people their dignity back
