A Story in Rhyme

Once upon a time there was a celestial tree designed to be a gift to the planet. God made him and his soul waited patiently to be born.

...

On the 12th day of Christmas the winds whispered 'Grace,' and light bestowed a tree to remember lineage holy, for future generations.

On the 11th day of Christmas the celestial tree reached the earth in essence.

On the 10th day of Christmas the essence of the celestial tree gathered earthly forces and it shone in crimson bright.

On the 9th day of Christmas the animals discovered wonder in the tree from the clouds and it breathed back gold.

On the 8th day of Christmas the essence of the tree gifted to the earth grew bigger and shone more golden in the midst of love.

On the 7th day of Christmas the other trees around the celestial one were inspired by the gold emanation, began to sing, and the land too turned golden.

On the 6th day of Christmas people came from across the land to wonder where the tree had come from.

On the 5th day of Christmas the wind blew great and even in the coldest stand the tree's seeds blew across the land to share love with humankind in preparation of something special.

On the 4th day of Christmas the saplings stood their ground protecting earth and the creatures great and small, and the song they sang grew stronger.

On the 3rd day of Christmas one seed crystallized in the east, leaning for a berth, and spreading a light over the shadow of the earth.

On the 2nd day of Christmas the celestial tree stuck out its branches in expectation.

...and on that 1st day of Christmas the watering of light had spread across the lands for people, animals, and nations to hold hands. It started with one tree to spread its light for earth's welcome, the farthest reach to be in unity with the metaphysical tree of life that would bring celestial to ground forces, and to do more. To brighten skies and stand in admiration all trees gave each in resonation, a fascination for the celestial light to come. The trees, like a welcome mat had their own song, their own unique tingle to help draw a very special few to watch the birth of the center of a new celestial tree of life which was the baby Jesus Christ.

The Tree of Life has been a mystical representation of the wheel of birth that hold the person in the center, as understood originally in Norse mythologies and other spiritual paths. It also has biblical meaning as the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad in the Garden of Eden and is protected by Holy Angels, in the story of Genesis. In the Greek Apocalypse of Moses the Tree of Life is also called the Tree of Mercy. Perhaps days are years, are decades or centuries even that bring us closer to the understanding of the metaphor of the tree of life and the matter of truth in holy lines. Welcome are the days of Christmas, the goodness of the season, to remind us what life is about. Peace and light.
