Oh, just a sec,

Looks bright out there:

Money's back!

The job went well!

People are busy,

Starting to shop;

Loans are out,

Stocks are up top;

Banks got cash,

Ready to lend;

Feels like we grabbed

A moment to spend.

But the thing is,

Nothin' turns into somethin'

Money just made,

No buyin' or sellin'.

No swap, no trade,

Like laughter or gold;

So we got more cash,

But things still hold.

Money's up, but

Value's not in sight;

What it can buy

Isn't quite right.
