In shadows deep, Walthamstow's whispers sigh
He seeks refuge within Lloyd Park's embrace
Seekers on the ground, night owls soaring high
Not a boy, yet a man, looking for a hiding place

In stranger's arms, he can find a stronghold

A fleeting bond, a sanctuary in the night,
In stranger's arms, he can find a stronghold
Insignificant moments shielded from the light

With every touch, this boy brave the unknown

Bending hearts, a deep longing has regrown

THE FORGOTTEN MATE
Introduction Alex sighed as he strolled down the streets of his small town. He knew everyone around him and felt the warmth and comfort of his friends and Neighbors every day yet felt like something was still missing from his life. Or someone, he corrected himself. He was 32 years old and had long ago come to terms with his identity as an openly gay man, but his quest to find the man of his dreams had been frustrating and fruitless.
