My Little Girls

The backyard filled with laughter and talking,

With ribbons bow tied in their black tightly curled hair,

Their laughter sings, a melody that warm my heart,

In worlds of make-believe, forever advancing.

My little girls, with small bright brown eyes,

Chasing butterflies across the backyard.

Their dreams take flight on wings of delight,

In their tender hearts, love shines warm and bright.

In whispered secrets beneath the moon's glow,

They share their hopes, their fears, their love.

Their innocence a treasure, a precious pearl,

My little girls, my whole world.

My hearts beating in human form.

With each passing day, they blossom and grow,

Yet in my heart, they remain small, my babies.

For time may fly and seasons may unfurl,

But forever they'll be, my precious little girls.
