Everlasting it seems.

Clouding the world in hollow darkness.

Longing to devour a lantern brighter.

Infinitely envious while

pirating light.

Sequestered to the night with no audience.

Embracing the majesty of the day, even if for a moment.

I like how this piece explores the contrast between sun and moon, and how darkness temporarily takes the place of light in the day. Personifying makes these objects and concepts more alive, and “Longing to devour a lantern brighter.” is a wonderful piece of imagery Mohammed😊
